David Perry for Superbolt™

David Perry is an entrepreneur and runner, who ran at the University of Portland. After college, David decided to move to New York and fully pursue his freelance career.

He mentions, “I knew from the age of, like six years old that I wanted to be a jeweller and a jewelry designer. It just immediately had purpose, because I think it tells your future generation something that you stood for.”

Now sanctioned in Los Angeles as a custom jeweller at Perry Jewelry, David is no stranger to having a consistent daily routine. In fact, he thrives on it.

“My mornings start early, around 5 AM or so. Superbolt is the first thing I drink. I don’t check my texts, email, social media or even the news. I head to the kitchen, boil water, and I focus on that cup of tea. I enjoy that moment of simplicity. Letting the tea steep, enjoying the first sips. The smell and taste now remind me of the morning, chasing my dreams in the day that lies ahead.”

We flew down to LA from our home-base in Vancouver to catch up with David and document a day in the life.
